1. Who runs this site

This website at puretag.social is operated by PureTag Social. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean PureTag Social, and "you" means anyone who visits the site. Contact, including for legal notices: hello@puretag.social. If your message is a legal notice, put "Legal notice" in the subject line.

2. What this site is, and is not

PureTag is in early development, and what we describe on this site may change before release. This site, and the update emails we send, describe the app as it is designed today and what we intend. Those are intentions, not promises. Where we write about the app in the present tense, we are describing the design, not something you can use today. Features, designs and names may be added, changed or dropped, timing may move, and some of what we describe may not be released at all. Nothing on this site is a promise of when, whether or in what form the app will be released, and plans we mention, including any campaign we say we intend to run, may change, be delayed or not happen. The screenshots on this site come from our prototype, a demo of the app, and show sample users and posts, not real people. Please do not rely on anything here when making a decision, including a decision to spend money. If you need something confirmed, ask us at hello@puretag.social.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell any product or service. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or other investment, in any jurisdiction, and nothing on this site should be relied on in deciding whether to invest in anything.

3. Using the site

These terms apply to everyone who uses this site. Anyone may read the site and share links to it. You may sign up for updates only if you are 18 or over, and when you sign up or send us a message you accept these terms. You may not use the site in any way that breaks the law, that interferes with its operation, that copies it in bulk, or that harvests addresses or other information from it. Automated access for indexing by search engines is permitted. We do not promise that this site, or the app it describes, is appropriate or available where you live, and you are responsible for following the law where you are.

4. The updates list

Signing up asks for your email address. By submitting it, you confirm that you are 18 or over. A confirmation link comes first, and nothing else is sent until you click it. What is collected and how it is handled is set out in the privacy notice. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.

5. Content and ownership

PureTag Social owns or controls the text, design, logo, border art and screenshots on this site, unless stated otherwise. You may quote the site to report on, review or discuss PureTag, and you may reproduce its screenshots for that purpose with the captions they carry, unaltered, and not in a way that suggests we endorse you or your work. Any other reuse needs written permission. PureTag, ThemeTag and YouTag are trademarks of PureTag Social. Please do not use them as part of your own product, service or domain name, or in a way that suggests a connection with us that does not exist. Other company and product names on this site belong to their owners, and their appearance here does not mean those owners endorse us. Kickstarter is a trademark of its owner. PureTag Social is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kickstarter, and any campaign we run there would be our own, under Kickstarter's terms. If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, email hello@puretag.social with the details and we will look into it promptly.

6. Links and sources

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. Those sites are not under our control, their content and privacy practices are their own, and a link is not an endorsement. Where we quote someone or cite a figure, we give the source and the date. Those words and figures belong to their sources, as published on that date, and the sources may have updated them since. Nothing on this site is medical, legal or financial advice.

7. No warranty

The site is provided as is and as available. We try to keep it accurate and reachable, but we make no promise, express or implied, that it is error-free, complete, up to date or always available, and we give no warranty of any kind about the site or about the app it describes. The description of the app is a description of a product in early development, and section 2 applies to all of it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind arising from the site, from anything on it, or from your reliance on it, including indirect or consequential loss and lost profits, however it arises. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

9. Changes

These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top changes with them, and the version posted here when you use the site is the one that applies to that use. We keep earlier versions and will send you one on request.

10. Ideas you send us

We like hearing ideas, so we have to be clear about what happens to them. Anything you send us about PureTag, including ideas, suggestions, feedback and materials, is given freely. By sending it, you give us permission to use it in any way, anywhere, for free and without time limit, with no duty to pay you, credit you or keep it confidential, and you cannot take that permission back. You confirm you have the right to send it. We may already be working on something similar. If you want to discuss something in confidence, tell us first and wait for our written agreement before sending it. This section does not cover your name and email address, which are handled as the privacy notice describes.

11. General

These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of this site. If any part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not act on a breach of these terms straight away, we can still act on it later.
